New product: Tapirino and the Bee.

Beeswax coated cloths to use instead of plastic wrap or aluminium foil.

You can use these 100% cotton cloths over and over again – in the fridge, in the freezer. Don’t use them for meat, fish or poultry, but bread, cheese, etc. is all fine. The small ones make perfect covers (possibly with a rubber band) for small pots, jars, jugs ’n things.

Clean them with cool, soapy water. (If the water is too warm, the wax will melt. Duh.)

They are waxed with food grade beeswax and jojoba oil, nothing else. They should last you six to twelve months, and then they could even be re-waxed.

They are for sale. We will upload pictures and details soon, but if you can’t wait for that, drop us an email. They are all made of Liberty Tana Lawn fabric, the smallest ones measure ca. 17×17 cm, the largest ca. 28×38 cm.

Nieuw product: Tapirino en de Bij.

Met bijenwas bewerkte doeken om te gebruiken in plaats van plastic- of aluminiumfolie.

Deze 100% katoenen doeken zijn steeds opnieuw te gebruiken – in de ijskast, in de vriezer. Gebruik ze niet voor vlees, vis of gevogelte, maar ze zijn prima geschikt voor brood, kaas, enz. De kleine doekjes zijn perfect om (eventueel met een elastiekje) potjes, schaaltjes, kannetjes en zo mee af te dekken.

Schoonmaken in een lauw sopje. (Als het water te warm is, smelt de was. Duh.)

Ze zijn bewerkt met ‘food grade’ bijenwas en jojobaolie, verder niks. Je doet er een half jaar tot een jaar mee, en dan kunnen ze nog opnieuw gewaxt worden.
